After his GIA diploma in 1973 , Raphaël Cohen decides to leave the United States. After mining experience in Africa, he led for seven years purchases in one of the largest French high jewelry company. With his knowledge and experiences he decided to develop his own business in Paris and Geneva.

In 1987 the house will Ravene founded to meet the growing needs of the Swiss high watch industry. It is in this perspective that will be created in the heart of Geneva, a workshop to make custom size for diamonds and colored stones.

To meet the growing demand, the decision was made to develop a larger scale production unit. This idea was realized in 2002 with the opening of Kimberly Diamonds in Thailand wich represents now nearly 200 employees. Over the years Ravene has acquired confidence and today sees partners of choice , major Swiss watchmakers.
